2024 Coalition Priorities
Yearly coalition priorities are chosen through regional advisory council meetings. All residents of WNC are welcome to attend these meetings!
The coalition takes on projects in these areas:

Community Gardens
Food Waste Reduction
Healthy Food Distribution
Nutritional Education
Regional Food Councils
Our three program priorities for this year are:
Collaborative Agriculture Network: The planning and research phase of a regional wholesale aggregation project for local food. This project prioritizes small farms throughout the region.
Healthy Food Distribution: Regional food distribution to harm reduction and recovery centers across WNC.
Regional Food Councils: Ongoing support of the strategic planning, collaboration and training of rural local food councils across WNC.
